This election may be over, but the struggle has only just begun
Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid both received a temporary setback in November of 2010, but they did not lose their seats. They have not yet yielded either their power and/or influence. Their allies in the Congressional Progressive Caucus are as strong, and some might even say even stronger, than ever. And so long as they both hold onto their local seats, in California and Nevada, the Democratic Socialists of America will have a seat at the table in Washington DC. A fist with which to force European and Socialist International-style legislation (and other so-called "roses") upon their beloved, the working classes of the United States of America.
Many working American people do crave a helping hand. But whether that hand is of a divine nature which is voluntarily offered and serves to shed light, or is of a more "human" nature which forces things through (deem and pass) and may ultimately be used to crush them, remains to be seen. The socialist rose is an ill-defined and unlimited promise of hope and change which conceals all thorns. An unlimited promise that has heretofore NEVER been kept by those who made it, save one, those that offered in advance and in a self-limitting manner to merely light the way and NOT provide certain or even more nebulous and/or grandiose results.
As the Preamble to the American Constitution states:

Glenn Lee Beck (born February 10, 1964) is the greatest living conservative radio and television host, political commentator, author, and entrepreneur in America today. He is currently the host of The Glenn Beck Program, a nationally syndicated talk-radio show that airs throughout the United States on Premiere Radio Networks; He is also the host of a self-titled cable-news show on Fox News Channel.
